The Memory Of Man

For one sure thing: I have a bad memory. True. Numbers, Dates pass by, Facts pass by, People's names pass by... My bad memory :) But I have also met a person with an amazing memory capability. Very amazing. He is able to sing the national song of others, compiled in one cassette.. He even surpassed the Pakistani people in that.
And tonight, i came to see an amazing thing again, I dont believe that he was a qori' also 20 years ago. But yes, he recite a very long song in Arabic (the song that is teached to people who want to learn to read Quran as a qori') very fluently. He learned to learn tajwid also in the university, and became a Qori that represents his univ in just several weeks, 7 meetings! I think that's a kind of gift.
Several days ago, i knew that he is able to every "kabupaten" in Indonesia for each province! (more than 400 if i'm correct) and able to tell the 50 states of United States.. :) even many US people are unable to do that , Im sure.
My eyes are open now, that the Arabic people back then, it's not impossible in having fery good retention ability to repeat the word that someone said in Arabic. It's very far from my memory capacity. It's like having old 500 Mb harddrive when someone else have 200Gb! And still i'm saying to myself: Laa Yukalifullohu Nafsan 'ila wus aha [Arabic, means: God will not charge a man more than he can do]
